Professor Harvey Burd
CEng, read Engineering Science at Hertford College, Oxford University with post-graduate research in soil mechanics. He was awarded a D.Phil in 1987 and was appointed to a University lectureship at Oxford University. Served as Chairman of the Faculty of Engineering & Examiners, and fellow of Brasenose College. His teaching is principally in the areas of structural mechanics, soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering.
